SuitSat 2 is coming off from the drawing board to assembly. I just sent Lou a piece of hardware. Lou and his crew are working hard on this project. Superstition Hamfest, Mesa AZ, 2 Dec 2006

Hi! I will be part of the AMSAT table at the Superstition Hamfest in Mesa, Arizona, this Saturday (2 December 2006). Along with Gerry VE4GTB and Larry W7LB, I will be out there manning the table and we will also do demonstrations on AO-51 and *possibly* VO-52. Since the ISS packet system has come back on, we may be able to monitor that as well. Tampa Hamfest this coming weekend, 2-3DEC2006

Hi Everyone, Just a short note that AMSAT will have a booth at the upcoming Tampa Bay Hamfest in Palmetto, Florida. The dates are the 2nd and 3rd of December, and the hours are 8-5 Saturday and 9-5 Sunday. We'll have the full gamut of AMSAT supplies, and will sponsor a forum and question and answer session on Saturday from 1 to 3. We'll also have several live satellite demonstrations both days, and for the first time at this hamfest we will be demonstrating both the tuning and tracking capabilities of SATPC32 throughout the day with a Icom 910 and Yaesu rotor set. Thanks: Need SatPC32 Doppler file

Thank you very much for all of you who took the time to respond to my request for a new Doppler file. I got the program back on the air and appreciate knowing about the "Cat_Data_Backup" folder. I wanted to mention that I got into this mess because I have been needing a consistent Uplink correction of between -1000khz to +1500khz depending on the satellite. I thought I would use the "Change/Store data file" function to in the CAT menu to try to capture this correction. But when I went on to "Store uplink calibration", in the process, the program deleted all entries for that satellite. Does anyone know how a.) to store the actual Corrections for future passes and b.) Is it some sort of software bug that lead to the deletion of the Doppler entries? Michael K3MH
