Yes I agree with you Michael, I read carefully everything
about this matter, thanks Erich for your help!

Erich,
Further to a recent question, it appears that I must change the
doppler.sqf file to calibrate a cw beacon rather than use the
"change/store data file" button. Is this correct? I have a seperate
line for each SSB sat that tunes the beacon frequency in CW mode and was
attempting to adjust for the offsets in my system.
Thanks for the help.

Hi AMSATs,
Recently I was looking for some 23cm trx to use it for
testing higher bands transponders. I can do 23cm on
satellite band with a transverter to 2m, but this is
very un-practical in mobile use... Another problem is
that it has only 2MHz couverage, and I like something
that can cover the whole 23cm band in all-modes.
I found several types from several brands, but all of
them seem to be old and no more available. Because I
am not into all those old/new types it takes me long
time to find out what is a good choice and the same
time available.
I prefer all-mode 23cm trx from ~1240...1300MHz.
Size in the order of a mobile set, but no huge
base-station as I need it for moving around.
Output power in the order of 1W is enough (more is
extra), as I have amplifiers available to gear this
up.
New or old is all welcome, my main interrest is good
RF performance.
The best I found is IC-1275, but it is no more
available and very rare to find (I read on internet)

The AO-51 Command Team will be running a short test tomorrow morning between
the two morning passes of AO-51 over the eastern US. The BBS may be
inaccessible, and the voice repeater may be off for a portion of the time
after 1300Z and should be back by 1630Z.

Hello all
I need help to setup sprint 2 tnc from paccomm
According to the manual I hooked up all the jumpers as it mention on the table at page 17 but nothing work
The things confused me are
1- on page 6 the manual mention
to operate a sprint-2 satellite model with same baud rate for uplink and downlink; ground the satellite selection line.J2 pin7
2- on page 15 mention ground pin 7 to (j2 to pin 6) to activate the dual speed feature
3- on page 30 SP5 is closed on all models except satellite model
to work echo satellite I need same speed 9600 for both up and down links
so what I should connect? I tried all the different ways of hooking the pins! but I got no print out from the satellite. the tnc can keying the radio and the dcd diode flickering ok
please if anyone could give me the tnc setup i will be graceful
