Radio Shack Rotator Voltage

I just picked up a used Radio Shack 15-1254 Rotator only..no control box or specs. Does anyone know what the drive voltage requirements is on these rotators. I've googled without any luck. Am planning to build my own control box with a momentary switch and some LED's for direction indicators but I need some specs. Radio Shack doesn't have them. I went to RS and looked at a new one and it gives no details. Problems to access the site of amsat-dl

Hi All, Since to day I cannot enter anymore the site http://www.amsat-dl.org As soon I attemp to connect the above site via Internet Explorer I receive a message suggesting to dowload a file sent by amsat-dl The above message allow three options: 1) Read directly the file 2) Save the file on disk 3) Ignore At the end of any of the above three options Internet Explorer closes down going back to desktop. I downloaded the file wich name resulted to be amsat-dl without any extension The same happens to my friend Fulvio IV3IBX All other sites are working perfectly as before. Any suggestion ? AO51 pass and AL800

Folks, Just finished up a bit ago with the AO51 pass at approx 0100 UTC. This time I had my HT connected to the AL800 antenna instead of the car top antenna. It does make a nice difference. I was sort of able to "tune" the sat in better this time with adjusting the aim and angle. Heard a lot of stations very clearly. Tried to TX one time but no one came back. I will keep trying. 2007 VRS Volunteer Hours on AMSAT Projects needed

Attention AMSAT Volunteers: It is that time of the year again. We need to be sure as many volunteer hours as possible have been reported to the VRS (Volunteer Reporting System) on the AMSAT web site. Over the last few years thousands of dollars of volunteer time have been reported and we are sure this year will be our largest given all the work that has done on Eagle, The new Lab, RideShare, SDR, SDT, and the like. If you are already registered on the VRS site please take a few minutes and report these 2006 hours. If you have not reported before, please visit amsat.org, register, and help us keep track of this important aspect of the AMSAT mission. We'll keep the year open until the middle of January but hope you will take the time within the next couple weeks to update your report.
