I've put together a preliminary schedule for June, so if you have any
further requests please get them to ao51-modes(a)amsat.org in the next 48
hours or so. I have requests for 2 different hamfests, the ARRL Kids Day
event, and of course Field Day.
I expect to have the schedule posted for June by this weekend. We may run
some more L/U on 435.150 along with the normal repeater for FD practice at
the end of this month also.

Howard Long's LVB Tracker boards were a huge success at Dayton. We are exploring offering more options in response to requests from people in Dayton.
Possible combinations are:
1) bare board with info CD
2) board and parts kit w/ LCD
3) built board
4) built board in an enclosure
So, what I need is feedback on what the satellite users would rather have.
The bare main board/CD would be probably $25
Parts kit around $75
Parts kit plus the board/CD around $100
Built board around $120
Unit in enclosure around $150
These are approximate prices, we need to explore further what the final cost will be. We will decide what to offer depending upon the responses received.

One more time I write for ask you something about keplerian elements: ¿The epoch time calculated in Keplerian Elements is a Julian date or is a Gregorian date?. I think than is a Greogorian date, but I am not sure.

I picked up two TE systems amps at my club's white
elephant sale, and don't know much about them. I can't
seem to find a TE Systems website, and haven't had
time to look through my old QSTs for an ad so I can
tell what drive levels and power output these produce.
Does anybody know of a site that has the specs for

That is what I use. I use it nearly exclusively for my complete station. Have to use crimp on connecters because it has aluminum shield. If it gives me any mismatch I just trim the length. Remember if the feed line is cut to an electrical half length the input impedance equals the output impedance. The stuff I use I purchase from a local hardware store. It is sold for satellite TV hookup and is rated for up 2.5 GHZ. Cost locally is about .10 cents a foot. Just do not try and use high power while transmitting with it.
I run up to 100 watts with no trouble. To get a good match. Put a dummy load on the end of the cable and keep trimming it say six inches at a time until you get a good match . Remember if the cable is cut to 1/4 wave length or odd multiple thereof it is the worst condition you can have. While 1/2 wave length or even multiple thereof is ideal. Or you could try and put some torrid beads on the end of it to help control the rf feedback back down the line. Remember this line is not designed for the high voltages you get with high swr.

I have an old Yaesu G-450 rotator that I plan to put into use by mounting a
rotary dipole for 10M terrestrial and satellite use.
However, this rotator does not have any form of computer interface. There
seems to be a few third party solutions to this problem but however, before
I make a decision, I would like to know what the community has been using.
Also how well will a rotary dipole work with the Mode-A satellites such as
AO-7? Of course it can only track the satellite in azimuth.
