FS: Icom W32A dualband HT (great for sat ops)

I have for sale an Icom W32A dualband (2m/70cm) HT with the BP173 and BP180 battery packs, and the BC-110 wall charger. This is the dualband model that also does dual receive, so it is great for satellite operations because you can hear yourself on the downlink. The W32A has long been a favorite HT of satellite operators. It will also do dual in-band receive, will do wide receive up into 800mhz. A couple of the keys have the lettering on them a little worn off, but they are still readable. The rest of the HT looks good. It also has an aftermarket 17 inch long high gain dualband antenna instead of the stock antenna. This is also great for giving you the extra gain you need to hear and get into the satellites. I am asking $160 shipped in the US, and can take paypal, check, or MO. Dave: what you do not seem to realize is that for MANY years, members of AMSAT-NA and TAPR have been working with AMSAT-DL on these projects. AMSAT-DL wouldn't be as far as they are on P3E without that input, and of course THEIR input has been outstanding also ... But as stated earlier, there aren't any free rides anymore ... we've engineered ourselves right out of that market by showing the commercial folks how to bundle things with their launches so as to maximize payroll. I guess it is fair to say that we are in a bit of turmoil here ... volunteers are tired, unguided, misguided, deguided and overall worn-out. So I guess it is time for fresh ideas. Could you please outline YOUR plan to turn this around? You must have SOMETHING constructive to add rather than vitriol. How about running for the BoD and showing us how it's done? Maybe Luc could be the new Public Information Officer. He seems to like filling up mailboxes with lots of STUFF ... oops, I guess that is one of the definitions of SPAM. Right on Bob, I could not have said it better. Alltho it is the same few that don't do anything but complain. Wonder how much they have contributed or done to help the cause. I am 80 years old and know that ignoring them is the best way to treat them, but sometimes they just go too far. The best to those who are doing something to further the program of Amsat. The Tinytrak3 from byonics.com or the opentrak from Scott, or others. I suppose I should have a better list ready to drop in, but I am at the beach... But then remember, I also consider APRS as NOT a vehicle tracking system (just TX devices) but more as a local information distribution system about all that is going on in ham radio in the local area. In that sense, I prefer two-way systems with displays for the mobile operator. Bob, WB4APR

9600 bp AX.25 soundcard decoder

Greetings, I am wondering if anyone on the BB knows if there are any 9600-bps soundcard-based AX.25 ASCII decoding programs out in the www? If so what is the web address for it? I know 9600-bps is possible with modern soundcards as I have a program from COAA that decodes it for non-HAM related data. I am using my IC-910H data socket port output with it set to 9600 in the settings. I am interested in using the 9600-bps program for capturing the 9600-bps telemetry of AO-51, for example. I would then parse the text externally and and combine with the engineering equations to get to the calibrated data. Thank you very much. KG4QWC, Jim.
