Please feel free to reply to me directly. If the ISS is in packet mode and is in view of both Tanzania and Europe at the same time, it will work. PCSAT returns to full sun in Feb, and we may be able to get a full recovery though for the full sun period last month in Dec, we failed a recovery for the first time. Also PCSAT has a store and forward system for APRS packets where someone in a remote area of the world can send a packet and his packet will be repeated as a beacon around the world once every few minutes just for this application. But we never really used this feature since the only place where APRS users are, there are also IGates. Bob, Wb4APR

hi I was testing for an issue with my VHF sat beam after a complete overhaul of all the hardware above the azimuth rotor and i plug a dual band magnet mount antenna on a metal file cabinet in my basement and just when AO-16 was near TCA i was able to make 2 QSO with a Q5 uplink signal. I was running about 50W. He's probably the most sensitive on the actual fleet. The pipe bending twist is still running great. I think N8MH was one of the 2 QSO? Kagayaki ???????

Hi all, This may be something else - but here it is. Just before 2200 UTC I placed my antenna at the direction corresponding to AOS for OBJECT H. I set the frequency to 437.380 MHz, USB. At 2200 UTC I heard a sporatic signal, sometimes with fast frequency changes. It was not on all the time, which made it difficult to make out, what it really was. 7 minutes later at 22:07:30 UTC the frequency had changed to 437.364 MHz. At 22:08:45 UTC it was at 437.361 MHz. At that time the doppler of OBJECT H was -8.3 kHz. Lost it just after that. It did not sound like STARS or KKS-1. I had my antenna tracking OBJECT H during the last part of the time. HI Scott Saddly no to much birds on pacsat mode now. Pacsat need a lot of hardware eg PC.TNC. APRS is a good chose if some satgate around and ISS packet is on. NO-44 is down now . Kenwood TH-D7A handheld is a good chose 73 de Nader ,st2nh www.st2nh.com
