Another go at Antennas!

Hi All, I know this has been properly discussed a 1000 times in the past, but I am going to ask it anyway :- Currently I have a crossed 2 (9 ele) / 70 (19 ele) yagi that appears to work quite well on 2m up 70 down, but does suffer de-sense on 70/2 ops. So my question is twofold, first I am thinking about having two antennas mounted on the rotator which will stop the de-sense? I am looking at getting a WiMO X-Quad for 70cms but the website doesn't appear to be to helpful in the polarization side of things! The X-quad is fed by two times N-Types and they sell a phasing harness. Which brings me to my question.. What is better L/RHCP as they don't appear to sell a switcher for 70cms to changer the polarization manually? I think this is why I couldn't work the linear satellites with a 70cms uplink? I would like to try and make contacts on AO7,HO68 and VO52! FM is no problem when people listen! Thanks in advance, Chris - M0DQO

Thanks to all who worked me in EM86,85 FM06,05 13, 14 If anyone needs QSL please make sure you put the grid I was in at the time of contact on your card or just email me at wa4hfn(a)comcast.net with all the contact info. We will be heading back to TN tomorrow the 19th and might be spending the night in em85 or 86 and will be on AO51 in the afternoon I will work some on the birds today from FM06 .I hope I was of help to some WA4HFN Damon

Hi guys.... bad news from W Scotland no sat opps at mo,as the qth is not suitable,i hope to may manage some mobile opps from isle of syke w.scot lat in the week and only ao7 -B- may be 2 passes just after lunch local time....if the wx lets me as its none stop wind,rain and low cloud...ill post more lat...ive no phone/internet cov either ....in the sticks...de paul 2E1EUB....2M1EUB/P
