To make sure everyone understands this list, this is HO-68 transmitting. Not any uplink stations. As you see, all listed below are TO stations. It is responding to BBS request. A lot of the transmission are saying the BBS directory is empty. So, when sharing a frequency with voice, the TNC on the satellite buffers the data and does a burst of buffered data when frequency is clear. ND9M Road Trip Update #4

My XYL and I are spending a few days in the Denver area. We'll likely resume our trip and head south on Friday, 5 Feb. Today (2 Feb), we're heading up to Cheyenne, WY (DN71) to visit family. Hi All and many thanks for your feedback.! I agree with you David !! most probable the on and off cycling of the BBS has a rule in deleting the on-board messages. ! May the command team .kindly have more explanation!! Regard 73 Nader /ex ---------- Hi Nader I saw your question last week, and the response that said the messages will stay for 5 days. But I wonder if the messages are lost when the BBS is switched off? Perhaps there is a timer to remove them after 5 days if it's left running. calculating transponder uplinks from downlink frequencies

For my micro-controller-based doppler tuning project, I'm trying to work out formulas for deriving transponder uplink frequencies from those of the downlink. Hello Bruce VE9QRP, May I recommend Gadwin Print Scren? Download from here: http://www.gadwin.com/download/ You can find the freeware version at the bottom of the page. I use it for several years. I am looking for a FREE Terminal Emulator app. as Win7 64 does not include it as it did with XP. I want it to communicate with the LVB Tracker. Can any one recommend one? Thanks Charlie K3VDB

Your post made me wonder if you also could run the Virtual XP mode with your Win 7 64 bit as I do and help your problem I work my old programs that way. Not always easy but I use DOSBOX also I do not run a terminal emulator however. Hello -- I've been playing around with spectran and satellite CW beacons as a means of testing the effectiveness of various antennas. At the top of the screen, spectran provides a running indication of the frequency of the loudest signal and its volume in dB. Does anyone know of an application by which this sort of information might be captured for later analysis?
