Just installed a preamp Ar2 { Advance Reciever Research) M# MSP432DG-160 and the birdy that the TS2000 has on AO27 recieve is now gone and I was able to hear the bird from start of the pass to the end.Why ,I do not know, but the preamp seems to kill the birdy . Has anyone found this to be the same.

Hi!
I will give a quick satellite demonstration to some local hams here in
Mexicali (DM22go) during the next AO27 pass at 2122 UTC this afternoon.
Please give XE2/WD9EWK a call if you are on that pass.
Thanks in advance, and 73!

David,
PA3GUO has described a homebrew switch on his website, http://www.pa3guo.com/

Okay, so why not add it? Maybe the devs are too busy. The source is
right there; it can't be that hard to add it in.
Give me a TS-790 to play with, and I'll do it. Eventually.

Gerald,

Currently the controller works quite well and the YAESU protocol is already implemented. I've only found very basic documentation about easycom 2 on the internet (http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftp/software/win32/wisp/easycomm.txt) and I would ask you if you can provide more detailed protocol descriptions.

You've found the only protocol definition I know about. Does anyone on the BB know of a better specification document for the Easycom 2 protocol?

Thanks to all who answered. Looks like I was doing it right all along.
I just designed a new QSL card for SAT Ops. I left space for adding the
frequencies with an Up & Down Arrow and also to spot for grids, One for with
my home grid and a blank if I work from outside DM33. Patrick (XE2/WD9EWK)
is the first to get one.
Hope to be sending out a bunch of these in the future.

decided to have a software crash ;-).
I started reloading tonight, and we'll have both coasts uploading
