Hi EU satellite users, Plan is for the following orbits to be active: Europe 13 August UTC 08:31 10:05 17:44 Time is in UTC. It is normally active for 15 min. The times are turn on times. Todays experience is that you do not need the CTCSS tone to work through SO-67. Higher priority jobs may take over. 73 OZ1MY Ib

*Hi all, I tuned to 145.8MHz. abt. 8:20 to abt 8:50AM this AM's Pass & I didn't notice any reduction in Sqelch noise, & was wondering if the work is still being done to fix the problems? Maybe I missed something, but the version of Nova for Windows (from Northern Lights Software) that I have does not interface to radios to control Doppler. It only interfaces to rotors to control tracking. Steve Jobs and Apple have placed an effective separator — a barrier between the anode and the cathode in the battery that lets ions pass but not electrons — that is preventing the common internal leaking that plagues Ni-MH batteries. It’s like placing a 25-micron thick crossing guard in the guts to control the traffic. As a result Jobs can say that Apple’s Ni-MH batteries, combined with the charger, will still be able to hold 80 percent of its charge after a year. I have a G5500 controller. Don't have rotator, got separated during SK phase, bought in car boot sale. Will the controller drive 2 separate rotators? mounted appropriately - don't see, prima facie, why not? Please respond on/off -bb, I don't mind, others may be interested. 73 de andy g0sfj
