Which preamp to buy for 2m?

Hi all, I just got a M2 2M4 and 420-50-11 to mount on my az/el rotor and go with my 736R. As I'm hoping to potentially work some EME with the big guns when conditions are just right, I'm wondering if anyone can provide advice on which preamp to get for 2m. I live in the Los Angeles metro area, so lots of noise/QRM, and also would like something to take advantage of the 736's preamp switch/voltage over coax option. In other words, something that doesn't require any complicated power/switching controls, if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tim K6TW

Horyu-2 437.375 MHz - November ?

SRMVU Telemetry

I was able to copy SRMVU this morning during the 1149UTC pass here at EN91ck (Cleveland, OH USA). I did notice that the AOS/LOS were off by a minute or slightly more. Perhaps the Keps will be updated soon. The signal strength was weak but copyable. A recording was made. PSLV C-18 Launch successful

Hello All, The PSLV C-18 Mission is a Grand success. All the four satellites were successfully injected into their precise orbits. The Jugna was injected at 05:56 UT and the beacon will turn ON at 06:31 UT. It is expected that the Jugnu at that time should be somewhere over N.W of South America. Does the person who sent me a big green SASE remember, because there were two stacks that went out from Cali and it was in one of them, so I was wondering if the person did receive it back or not. Reason being there might be more than one person who did not get any cards from Elko or Cali. Not worried about postage or cards just that it bothers me that people did not get what I had sent. So please let me know if you did not receive cards from any occasion and I will be glad to resnd given the info. Kevin KF7MYK
