A few Australians have been using Oscar 29 the last few days. We are lucky to get first dibs here after Japan switches it on.
Good signals from her yesterday, didn't get a chance to report on http://oscar.dcarr.org/ as I was in the middle of mowing my lawns when the bird came over.

Okay, time is running out...
Heard myself on multiple passes of ARISSat-1 lately, but nobody has been around or able to make an SSB QSO.
I'll be on during the 1607utc (11:07am Eastern) pass today, hoping to make a voice contact. SatPC32 is set for 145.930 receive, so I'll be close to that frequency.
Hope to make contact with somebody :)

Hi,
I had two passes of ARISSat today over New Hampshire. The first one, I
only caught the tail end and got a Kursk frame or 2, but no satellite
telemetry. The second one I had nice and strong as soon as it appeared
above the horizon, but it must have been in low power mode. The
transmission cut off cleanly (no fade). Then shortly afterwards it came on
again and cut off again. I should have timed them but did not. I had 3
periods of reception during the pass. Unfortunately, none was long enough
to let the telemetry decoder get a frame.
Farrell, were you sending SSTV to the transponder around 1630Z? It did
look like SSTV on the spectrum diagram but it was not doppler synchronized,
so it was drifting even when I synchronized. It also disappeared long
before my pass was over, as I would have expected if the source were way
west of me.

Hi,
60 day predictions on the Space-Track web site has ARISSat-1 object 37772 re entering 30th December.
Based on the posts on this topic from Nico, Roland and James, and my calculations, I think we have a bit longer.
But only a few days.
