ND9M/P: DM27, DM28, DM29

Cori and I will stay in southern Nevada for one more day tomorrow (Friday). While she kicks back, I'm going to head north with the plan to operate from DM27, DM28, and DM29 while northbound and possibly DM19, DM18, and DM17 on the return run. Which grid(s) on what passes? Dunno; this will be an on-the-fly run into the desert. I'll have APRS running (ND9M-7), but I have no idea what the coverage is in that part of the state. I'll also be running counties on HF CW (14.056.5 kc) and SSB (14336 kc) as well; hopefully I'll be spotted on the ch.w6rk.com website. We're planning to start our trip back to Florida (and its cooler temps only in the 90s!) on Saturday morning by way of DM37 and DM47 in southern Utah before re-entering Arizona. 73, Jim, ND9M / VQ9JC Las Vegas, NV / DM26

Yesterday i operated from two different grid lines on two different ao27 passes. First i was on en41/42 and then on en31/41. This is the first time i operated from grid lines and i had fun doing so. the worst part is it seems every spot i picked to operate was down in a valley. I made 8 contacts on the first pass and 15 on the second. Anyway if anyone need these grid confirmed just drop me an email and i can get a card out no return card needed. I plan on going to the grid of en32 at some point this next month as well. If anyone one else needs these grids just drop me an email and we can work something out. Also I am still looking for anyone in Alaska or Hawaii to contact for WAS. If you are from either state please contact me. Wyatt Dirks AC0RA

FM Satellite Contacts Log Blunder

Hey, Gang. I have fallen victim to the old QRZ.com logbook call sign change Houdini problem. I changed my call from K3UAZ to KK6L in February/March-ish after moving to California, and I had my entire satellite logbook online at QRZ.com with no consolidated paper log. Of course, the whole thing went *POOF* when my new call arrived, and I had no paper copies. I do have cards for some of those QSO's, but if any of you could search through your logs and look for either K3UAZ or KK6L and drop me an e-mail with the QSO information, it would be a great help in rebuilding my log. I worked exclusively on the FM Sats from about Thanksgiving through now from FN10 and CM88. Thanks! - Jake, KK6L
