Well, I finally got my fifth one and sent in the report to Damon. I think I am going to propose tonight on the Houston AMSAT Net that we offer a 29 in EL29 award. I am sure over the years there probably have been that many sat ops in this grid. Bruce, KK5DO, is an experienced awards manager, so I am sure he will know how to organize this... 73, Jerry, K5OE

excerpt from SPACEFLIGHT NOW An "emergency situation" occurred during today's launch of a robotic Russian resupply ship headed for the International Space Station, preventing the Soyuz rocket from placing the freighter into orbit. Liftoff of the Soyuz booster carrying the Progress vessel from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan occurred at 9:00 a.m. EDT (1300 GMT), beginning Russia's 44th such cargo delivery mission to the space station. But the Russian space agency says a problem with the upper stage propulsion system caused a premature shutdown and the vehicle's catastrophic failure. Hi to all, I'm looking for any reports about the operations on the new mission of Edusat satellite, I've tried to receive TLM or other signals in the period of coverage of the bird ( over US and EU) in UHF freq.
