Request for a file of amateur satellite frequencies

Hi All, This may seem odd but I cannot seem to locate any website that has a simple list of ACTIVE satellites with data showing: Name ID number Up/Down Frequencies Modes or modulation info maybe output power and?? other info It would be a really useful checksheet to have by you when operating portable and, I am told that, if it were created in an xml format, it could be searchable by machines as well as humans! If there is not such a list in existence perhaps the experts meeting at Orlando this weekend could create something for us? many thanks Graham G3VZV

Hi, Not quite the answer to the question or containing the information that was being pursued The UDS_Satellite_Database is a very comprehensive list of satellites launched or constructed with other background information, I am mentioning it because it is in an "EXCEL" format and could therefore be used as tool and starting point to edit and or add the information required. I did attempt to do something on these lines a few years ago especially as on our 80 metre Amast-UK net information we usually get asked about satellite details. The problem was and still is, managing such a list bearing in mind that we now have many " cubesats" being launched. Quite a number are not listed or classed as an "Amatuer Satellite " status but still have many followers - from what I gleam on the BBS. The source and release of information on the status or operation of some of the satellites has been very difficult to pursue, thus keeping any proposed file updated is perhaps beyond its manager at the moment. Hector update - Wednesday (24 October) evening

Hi! Hector CO6CBF is in Miami! The flight from his home city Cienfuegos arrived in the late morning, then Hector went through Customs and Immigration at the Miami airport. After that, he has been spending the day with his friends in Miami before I meet up with him tomorrow morning. Hector and I chatted on the phone in the late afternoon after I arrived from Phoenix, and - in English and Spanish (he's wanting to speak more English this week) - said he was very happy to be in Miami. Hector confirmed he was allowed to stay in the U.S. for 7 days under his U.S. entry visa, and he will fly home next Wednesday (10/31) morning. I am not sure Hector has access to his two e-mail accounts back in Cuba while he is in the U.S. I will confirm that in the morning, so please be patient if you sent Hector an e-mail and he has not responded to it. I will see him tomorrow morning, and we should be in Orlando around midday. For me, it was almost surreal that I was able to dial a Miami phone number, instead of a Cuban phone number, and hear Hector's voice on the other end of the call. Seven months of work paid off, and now we can look forward to seeing and hearing Hector at the Symposium this weekend. Thanks again to everyone who played a part in this effort, no matter how big or small the contribution was, and whether or not your contribution was monetary or something else.
