On the weekend of the 21st of April I will be headed to a Hamfest In Des Moines Iowa. I have plans of operating on a near by grid line of EN21/22. I might also go to EN20/30 if there are any interested. The hamfest it self is in EN31 and i am going to stay the night in EN32. I have a few requests already for EN21/22 so i will for sure operate there but don't know when yet. Amateur Radio Newsline will mention our ARISS project on today's edition ... HAM RADIO IN SPACE: ISS CONTACT TO HISTORIC FLABOB AIRPORT A group of students are preparing to talk to an astronaut aboard the International Space Station, but not from a traditional classroom setting. According to ARISS Technical Support Volunteer Clint Bradford, K6LCS, the 10 minute live question-and-answer session will take place in hangar 16A at the historic Flabob Airport which is the seventh oldest surviving airport in California. The Flabob Airport to the I-S-S contact opportunity is being coordinated by The Tom Wathen Center's Kathy Rohm with technical support provided by K6LCS. The contact is slated to begin at at 10:03 AM Pacific Daylight time on the morning of April 19th and should last for about the usual 10 minutes. Anybody know if the Keps site has moved, or is simply (and temporarily) down? Gpredict isn't updating it's keps, and I figured out that www.celestrak.com isn't responding to a ping. Greg KO6TH
