The Radioskaf site lists Radioskaf-3 to commemorate 55th aniversary of Sputnik. But doesn't reference a satellite called Sphere. See http://tinyurl.com/Radioskaf-3 Currently manufactured "Radioskaf-3". This is the working name of the satellite, to be launched in honor of the 55th anniversary of the launching of the first artificial Earth satellite. This is an exact replica of the satellite, but modern components, plus on-board scientific instruments will YUZGU students. "Radioskaf-4" - follow-on satellite programs. The development of the satellite units are students from various universities in Russia, Peru and Jordan. Starting in 2013 with the ISS. Hi, I have used a very similar setup in the past with a Sandpiper dual band yagi (3 elements on 2m, 5 on 70cms) so the Elk, or Arrow antenna should work just as well. So50 Ao27 UK Operation

Hello there. Is there anyone on this forum who uses So50 Ao 27 from the UK/Scotland. I don't seem to hear any the passes . I hear and use Fo29 and Vo52 OK but no success on FM birds. I worked Sumbandila and Echo in the past so not sure if am doing something wrong?. Cheers for any response. Kev mm0kjg

This may have been discussed before forgive me if it has I am new at this. I was wondering if an Elk or Arrow antenna mounted on a mast at an angle with a TV rotor would work as a base antenna for Satellite work. Has anyone done this and any tips on how you have been successful. If this does not work what would be the best antenna other than beams for under $200.00 to do this? Thanks for your information.

For logging I've found Logger32 works well, especially for keeping track of your portable operations. Logger allows you to log to a single logbook using different operators. For example, I use my callsign for normal QSOs, and /QRP, /6MTR, /SAT for home SAT QSOs, and /GRID for portable locations. It tracks awards, and grids for each operator. Info on any station you have ever worked is instantly available. I must admit though, I am not familiar with what else is out there. 73...ted...aa5ck
