My mind is running wild. I received an email some time back from a ham (I think it was Jarred) who said he copied my CW on FO-29 using the TH-F6A or similar hand held. My immediate thought was that Kenwood could add a miniature CW jack and turn this rig into a rig that operates on both the linear and FM birds. Very little engineering cost to implement this. Getting ready for a AO-7A pass, started keying the transmitter, I noticed the computer monitor was blinking very nicely in time with the cw, also the az and el indicators on the G5500 control unit were dancing around in tune with the cw. In fact they danced in tune even with the power off. Tipped over satellite tower, got out ohm meter, direct open through the 2M Icom AG-25 preamp. Jumped around the now removed preamp and we're back in business. Question...The relay contacts seem to be suspect. Should I get parts and repair the AG-25 or get a better preamp, as I am going to scratch some EME efforts off my bucket list. If you have a better 2M preamp "laying " around let me know. as always 73 Bob W7LRD

Satpc32 install problem

Trying to install on my MacBook Pro running win7 under boot camp fails suggesting that I don't have admin permissions At login. I don't understand how to get around this as I login with my password on boot up and don't recall having this problem in the past. Suggestions? Right clicking on setup doesn't seem to show the option I was looking for either. Rick W2jaz
