Trouble with ISS

NASA scaled back ops aboard the ISS today, as a cooling pump that circulates ammonia outside the station to keep equipment cool failed. NASA is still trying to figure out what exactly failed, and how to repair it. An EVA is not out of the question. NASA also stated that the ISS crew was not in danger at this time. Purchased a M2 436CP30. Had a failure of the switching block in less than 5 years. White plastic cracked and allowed water to ingress to the switcher. Customer service?? No return call. Pics on request. Norm n3ykf

CAPE-2 news

Hello my friends ! The pass over western Europe of orbits between 204 and 308 (this last yesterday) were well received, especially the CW telemetry (decoded by ears :-) because of its interesting sound). This morning, during orbit 323 pass (AOS 0732 UTC here) a continuous carrier alone was heard, slowly frequency modulated at the rate of the satellite rotation due to the voltage variation with no battery available : period 4 seconds, amplitude 850 Hz. I had to look up the definition of amalgamating before commenting on this. -------- That's Plymouth Bishop tape. You'll find it in the flea market at many hamfests at a good price. It is stretches to about twice its length and wraps a connector under tension. It then amalgamates. You must use a knife or razor blade to remove and no mess. It you see it, get some. It's great.

We are using satpc32iss with windows 7 and a Kenwood ts2000. With the C+ switch we can control the radio frequency with the up/down arrows but the radio will not up date for Doppler correction.
