Yaesu 5500 Connectors

If I remember correctly someone had found a source for the Yaesu 5500 rotor connectors from a regular supplier (Digi Key, Mouser or the like). Does someone have that info handy, as I find myself in need of a few (in a hurry). Thanks and 73, Joe kk0sd

SatPC32 Radio frequency control

I am having a problem getting SatPC32 satellite frequency control to work. I have a IC-9100 radio and an Apple Pro laptop connected via a USB cable. Com ports 1 & 2 and SiliconLabs CP210x USB to UART bridge are listed in my PC ports list. Inputing these ports into the SatPC32 program does not do anything. The frequency display on the IC-9100 does not change even after a reboot . Can someone take me through the proper steps?

I had the pleasure of working Wilse, WX7P on AO-27, in the summer of 2009, while I was portable on top of Cadillac Mtn. in Acadia National Park. Maine was the last state he needed for WAS/Satellites. I still remember him excitedly calling me with "Hey, are you in Maine?" Nick, KB1RVT

Three CubeSats from Santa Clara University

Three CubeSats from Santa Clara University plan to launch this year on three different launch vehicles. One of them Lambdasat is apparently planning to use the Iridium sat phone system which struck me as odd given that TechEdSat had to have it's Satphone facility disabled due to regulatory issues. Anyone know how they got around these issues ? I know you will join me in sadness when you learn that Bdale and Karen lost their home in the big Colorado fire. Like many DN08, is in my log from Wilse. Worked him only once, from my parking lot at work no HO-68. Got a great looking QSL card from him. I'll now have to move it to the section in my book for SK's. My deepest sympathies to his family & friends. If you had DN08 crossed off of your Satellite Grid list, there was a better than good probability that you had worked Wilse, I had last worked him back on September 20, 2012. I too have fond memories of Wilse WX7P. I first worked him on December 3, 2005. He was very active on the FM birds from 2005 through 2008. My last contact with Wilse was on September 20, 2012. 73, Wilse, my friend and thank you for the many contacts. Allen N5AFV
