I recently purchased a laptop with Win 7.0. Had an OS of XP and my LVB tracker had no problems. On 7.0, I am getting that there is no driver when I attach LVB. Can anyone suggest a fix?
Just to report that FUNcube-1 is now back in autonomous mode after a great extended weekend in transponder operation. The spacecraft will now switch automatically between modes when it enters and leaves local eclipse.
We hope that everyone enjoyed operating via the transponder during FUNcube-1s first birthday weekend!
Greetings from the whole FUNcube team
PS – We have calculated that FUNcube-1 has now travelled approximately 237.5 million km or very nearly from here to the sun and back again (1.9AU) –WOW!
I've installed a new to me RAS-1 and controller, and have yet to be able to
get SatPC32 to talk to the controller. I've been through the rather sparse
RAS-1 manual, and looked online. Anyone that has one of these have any
hints or undocumented bugs to share?
Thanks, Drew KO4MA
Today marks one year in space for MO-76 / $50sat. MO-76 is the smallest operational satellite in orbit and has been in continuous operation for 1 year. Considering this satellite is 1/8th the volume of a Cubesat, that's pretty amazing....
but I AM biased :)
Yes, it can be done. I ran old Wilson 500 (azimuth) for years with the LVB tracker after modifying its control box. The rotor finally gave out. The Yaesu G-1000 rotor would be a good challenge. I would try to use the design of the 5500 circuit as it seems to work really well with the LVB tracker.
