Hi Jim, For your information - first pass was a bit to low in view of terrain/obstructions at my QTH although I did hear my downlink. Second pass - Had a number of QSO's and satellite downlink quite strong but of course with the usual fade. Unable to monitor the on board data during these passes due to my activity in transmitting but hopefully you will have obtained some useful information during the activation from other sources. The Dash Express was an Internet-enabled personal navigation device manufactured by Dash Navigation. It was unique in its day because it transmitted info using a GPRS connection back to Dash, which enhanced traffic routing. RIM acquired Dash in 2009. And RIM discontinued service to these units on June 30, 2010. But is HAS to be good for some experimenter out there ... nice color screen ... built-in speaker ... case big enough to place your own stuff in ... SOMEONE is going to grab this and make something cool out of it. Absolutely brand new - box was not opened until right now to verify all original parts were in it. It was a second unit sent to me by Dash. HamTV Bulletin #10 March 21, 2014 Ham Video BlankTransmissions Planning Presently, Ham Video is transmitting permanently a "blank" image and no audio in configuration 3: * ARISS antenna 43 * Frequency 2395 MHz * Symbol rate 1.3 Ms/s Transmission will continue in this configuration till the end of the week. Sunday March 23, Ham Video will start transmitting in configuration 4, i.e. 2395MHz and 2.0 Ms/s. Due to SpaceX docking and related operations, Ham Video blank transmissions will come to an end March 31. The last commissioning step will be planned in April or in May 2014. We will keep you informed on the precise date and time. Reports on reception of blank transmissions are very welcome. Frequencies announced for QB50 Precursor CubeSats

The QB50 project will be launching two precursor 2U CubeSats, QB50p1 and QB50p2, both carrying amateur radio transponder payloads. The launch is currently planned for May 2014 from the Russian ICBM base at Dombarovsky near Yasny on a Dnepr rocket manufactured in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.
