Educators overwhelmingly report that student participation in the ARISS program inspires an interest in STEM subjects and in STEM careers. Ninety-two percent of educators who have participated in the program have indicated that ARISS provided ideas for encourag- ing student exploration, discussion, and participation, and 78 percent said that ARISS was effective in stimulating student interest in STEM. ARISS is looking for organizations that will draw large numbers of participants and integrate the contact into a well-developed education plan. Satellites and Duplicate rejection

Hello I have been sitting watching the last satellite pass of Falconsat-3 Direwolf was dumping packets like APRS-IS does due to dupes So UNLESS we modify dire wolf and run an Independent server We will never truly know the packets received by a Satellite Ground Station. I am willing to try a multi tread TCP server But until dire wolf does dupe checking we are not going to get anywhere Andrew Rich VK4TEC

WiSP "Grab" -vs- "Download" ??

Hi everyone. I've done my best to figure out how to use parts of the WiSP software for FalconSat-3, but I've got a long way to go. Searched online and found a few tips, but one fairly important aspect is how to flag the files in the directory listing. I understand "Priority" download and "Never" download, but does anyone happen to know what "Grab" means in this context? There are actually quite a few options availble besides those three, so if anyone would like to share pointers on this software, I sure would appreciate it. 73! -Scott, K4KDR

Falconsat-3 and Orbitron

Hello Falconsat-3 is not included in the key data set defined in Orbitron It is contained in the AMSAT set I tried adding in the AMSAT set to Orbitron and it does not like it I stripped the header off the AMSAT group and did a manual import and it worked Its a bit of a pain now I have got Orbitron working with my SDR # program Anyone managed to educate Orbitron as to AMSAT keps ?
