Right. That’s what I meant to say as I Too have gotten satpc32 and HDSDR to work nicely with FCDPP. I didn’t realize that DDE would work with the other SDR RX. There are a number of good inexpensive SDR receivers out there but I don’t see anyone who is successfully controlling them with software such as satpc32. I believe the FunCube Dongle can be controlled by satpc32. 73 Rick, W2JAZ -- Sent from Gmail Mobile

Fox Telemetry using Funcube Dongle Pro Plus

FS: Kenwood TS2000 HF/VHF/UHF/satellite radio

I have for sale a Kenwood TS2000 HF/VHF/UHF satellite transceiver. Does 100 watts on HF, 6m and 2m, and 50 watts on 70cm. Has IF DSP for noise reduction and IF filtering, also has TCXO installed, and CW memory keyer. The internal TNC in this radio doesn't work so you cannot use it for remote control by Sky Command. Also, the radio took a little tumble a couple of months ago and one corner of the bezel got banged up a little, and a couple of the buttons got pushed in a little into the bezel but they still do operate. The noise reduction button is pushed in the furthest and I programmed the PF key to control noise reduction. I am including a hand mic with 4 programmable buttons on it so you can use it to control some of these other functions. The TS2000 has the DRU-3A voice recorder installed, which is a $119 value. It also comes with a power cord, original box, and manual. I am asking $550 for it plus any shipping that is needed. 73 John AF5CC

What is a good SDR radio? Does not have to be top dog. But would like one that works well. I plan to use it some for satellite communication but mainly for coping weather satellite images. Thanks73 Mike K4MIA

Been using the SDRPlay2 on a couple of computers and an Android tablet. Several pieces of software out there for it. Have not done satellites yet. HF and VHF only, but the receiver goes up to 2 GHz. As always, the key is having an appropriate antenna for the need. Cost about US$150 at HRO. Has two SMA connectors as well as wire connections and Amazon has a package of SMA adapters to several connectors for about US$22. Don Olson,WA5W

Best TNC For Satellite Use?

Hello! What TNC are folks using these days to work FalconSat 9600 baud? I see Symek is no longer in business. Are there any recommendations or will any 9600 baud TNC suffice?
