Hello There has been reports from Individuals on Facebook that the ISS Packet is functional again. And http://ariss.net does show packets received. I believe there was reports of spoofing a few months back. Can anyone confirm that the digipeater is back on? Sean AA0AN

An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Shri Timli Vidyapeet, Devikhet, India on 27 Aug. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 08:06 UTC. It is recommended that you start listening approximately 10 minutes before this time.The duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. The contact will be a telebridge between OR4ISS and ON4ISS. The contact should be audible over Belgium and adjacent areas. Interested parties are invited to listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is expected to be conducted in English. Established in 1882, Shri Timli Vidyapeeth is a gateway to Vedic and global education and empowers an individual with the Vedic and Scientific Knowledge, Skills & Attitude enabling them to be a true Future Global Leader. Our campus is in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, a Himalayan state. I attempted to post an email last night to the bulletin board regarding my rove trip next week, but have not seen it appear on the bulletin board. Why are my emails not getting posted to the board, I am an AMSAT member and I do believe that I am registered on the board. 73, Bob, N6REK

DM 07/08 Rove

I will be in the Eastern Sierra next week working from DM-07. I plan to work the AO-85, AO-91 and AO-92 passes on Aug. 27 at 11:55, 10:59 and 13:12 PDT respectively. I also plan to work the same satellites from the DM-07/08 line on Aug. 31 at 10:39, 13:25 and 10:50 respectively. Then again on Saturday, Sept.1 from the same location for their late morning and afternoon passes. However, if the fish are biting, I will most likely be holding my fishing pole instead of my antenna pole! Hope to catch some of you on the birds. 73, Bob, N6REK

Hi All, The editors are starting to put together the next issue of the AMSAT-UK's Oscar News quarterly magazine which will be published at the end of September. We always welcome articles - long or short, technical or not. We are happy to include current operational reports as well as historical reflections! With so many new spaceships carrying amateur radio having been launched recently both into earth orbit and beyond, it is a busy time and quite hard to stay up-to-date with everything.
