Earlier in the week I had mentioned to a few that this item would be in the store this weekend. I beat that deadline and got it on the shelf today. The 50th Anniversary AMSAT OSCAR Satellite Communications Achievement Award is now online. There are only 20 of these certificates in existence unless there is a box around here that I did not see (highly unlikely). Do not rush over to the story and purchase one just yet. You must first send your LoTW or QSL card scans to me to confirm that you do in fact have the necessary qualifying contacts made from March 3, 2019 through December 31, 2019. After I confirm it and send you an email, you can go online to purchase yours. I have already received a few entries while I was under the weather. Will be looking at all of them this weekend. These certificates I can send out immediately as I have them in hand. uplink offset tracking issue

on sat 32pc using ft817 downlink and ic7100 uplink. can not get the frequency correction to change and bring uplink onto the downlink for SSB sats. reading the sat32 instructions is confusing but still unable to make change. My offset for the uplink is at -8.135 and downlink 2.803. This results in my uplink being way up the band from the downlink station. Any guidance would be great. Jim

Anybody see this? The ISS was at about 20° to 10° during the reentry, so I peaked out my window to see if I could see anything, but I suspect I am too far north (Philadelphia) to see the Dragon which was no doubt well below (and behind?) the ISS at that point. There is an article on Space.com, the the vehicle "reentry" MAY be visible on the East coast. Splash down is 8:45 am EST. off the coast of Florida. The "sonic boom" may also be heard. >From w1fxx

AMSAT-F RENCONTRE SPATIALE DU 9 & 10 MARS 2019 : Conferences broadcast live via the QO100 transponder

Dear All AMSAT-Francophone and Electrolab have deployed a ground station to operate the QO100 transponder in DATV. The "broadcast DATV" team led by Yannick Avelino and with the support of Evariste F5OEO has developed the station that will allow the conferences of the "AMSAT-F RENCONTRE SPATIALE DU 9 & 10 MARS 2019" to be broadcast live. The team has been in contact with AMSAT-DL and AMSAT-UK to obtain permission to operate the satellite during these days. We thank AMSAT-DL for allowing us this retransmission. 73 Christophe

Les, I recently finished the Fox Delta ST2 USB controller and am quite happy with it. I use a G5500B and SatPC32. Still waiting for the Icom IC-9700 so I can get on the air. All I have hooked up now is a SDRPlay rsp2.
