I have reserved a DNxD message at 07:11UTC above the West part of Nort America
.
It will be transmitted 3 times with 1 minute interval.
It may be midnight there,
I will try to set another one on my next pass.
I am happy to get sme questions from some members of this mailing list
about this DIGI service.
The first step is to receive the signal from GRBAlha.
I use a single 15 ele yagi (DIAMOND A430S15),
FT-847 which has an output line for 9600bps,
and Direwolf on Linux to decode the signal.
To activate DIGI, including DNxD, may have some difficulty,
but I use simple homemade terminal application like UISS.
I think UISS may be available for this use.
From my experience,
the main problem for uplinking to this satellite is the output gain of PC.
When I try to use soudmodem on Windows PC,
the output level is too low,
so I cannot transmit a wave with enough modulation rate from my TRX.
I monitor my wave everytime with my handy TRX attached small whip antenna set
on my desk.
I will gather these problems and show you some ideas anywhere.
