To the CubeSat community, We are pleased to finally
announce the launch date for the current Dnepr mission. We have
receieved official word that we will be launching our CubeSats on March
26, 2007 at approximately 10:30pm PST. There will be 26 spacecraft on
this cluster launch, with the primary payload being EgyptSat. The
CubeSat's on this launch are:P-POD 1:
AeroCube-2 (The Aerospace Corporation)CP4 (California Polytechnic State
University)CSTB 1 (The Boeing Company)P-POD 2:MAST (Tethers
Unlimited)P-POD
3:CP3 (California Polytechnic Stat University)CAPE1 (University of
Louisiana)Libertad-1 (University of Bogota)We
will be posting updates on our website as they occur. We are
encouraging the CubeSat developers on this launch to help us post
information and updates on our webpage and to be available on our
discussion boards. Not all of the satellites will be beaconing, but we
will have the frequencies of the ones that are posted. If you have a
groundstation, we'd like your help in identifying the satellites once
they are deployed. We will post the TLE's online for tracking. Some of this
data may still change, so please continue to check our website for updates.
We appreciate everyone's support, and hope that you are all as excited
as we are about this launch!Lori BrooksCubeSat Program Manager
