The big Tampa Bay Hamfest is this weekend in Palmetto, and AMSAT will have a booth, forum, and demonstrations of working satellites. I invite you to come by on Saturday and learn about Fox and ARISSat-1, and just have a good time.
As always, I need a few members that are willing to help in the booth, in particular during the forum on Saturday at 10AM, and during demonstrations while I'm outside. Please drop me an email if you think you can attend and help out for a bit. No experience necessary.

Hi,
I have a Yaesu VX-8R package for sale. It includes the radio, battery, charger, both antennas, spare seal for the options bay, manual, box, ADMS-VX8 software and cable, Mirage BD-35 dual band amp with mounting bracket and box, and a SMA to BNC adapter cable.
The only defects I know of are the lower right rubber bumper on the radio has been reattached with some superglue, and a bit of glue is visible on the rubber piece, and the rubber stick-on feet on the Mirage amp have been removed after one fell off. I think I have some 3M feet replacements that I'll include.
$400 picked up in New Port Richey area this weekend, or NPR or Tampa next week.
Thanks and 73, Drew KO4MA
