I'm getting emails a day late as well.
What some of us try to do is send to a few and also the amsat-FL. Especially when there is a net and we are trying to figure out who's running the net.

The Florida AMSAT net will be carried in the AMSAT EchoLink conference
tonight, January 28th at 1930 local time, EchoLink node number is 101377.
For now, RF users can use the K4ZPZ repeater in the Orlando area, and the
KI4SWB repeater in Melbourne. There may be other repeaters linked in as
well. EchoLink users can use the conference, either as PC client or
repeater/link to access the net.

You subscribe to AMSAT-Florida in "digest" mode. That means the system gathers up the day's messages and sends them all in a bunch at midnight (Pacific Time, since that's where the amsat.org server is located). This mode is intended to reduce the burden of sorting through the messages on a high-traffic mailing list. For an extremely low-traffic mailing list like AMSAT-Florida, you'd probably be happier with digest mode turned off. You can control digest mode (and certain other configuration items) for your subscription by following the link at the bottom of every message, http://amsat.org/mailman/listinfo/amsat-florida. Go to the bottom of that page, fill in your email address, and click on the "Unsubscribe or edit options" button.
The log shows that your digest for yesterday was sent at 12:01AM, which would be 3:01AM in your timezone. I would bet that's when you received it, not 12 hours later at 3:01PM.

Hello all,
Its getting very close to Hamcation time again. This is just a quick update to AMSAT's plans for the occasion. We are planning to operate our booth for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be at booths 83 and 84. The same as last year. I've made arrangements for a satellite station to be set up as we have the last 2 years with our mobile antenna array parked just outside in back of the booth area. In the past, I've had problems demoing the station while also needing to be available to answer questions and help at the booth. This year John and Doug Papays have offered to work passes and discuss station operation for us.
In the past, I haven't seen a need in trying to schedule specific times for individuals to be available at the booth to help out. I'm not planning to do it this year either, but the fact is that two people I know of that have been extremely supportive in the past may be limited in the time they will be available to help this year.
Therefore, I'm putting out a general request for anyone that could help out in the booth any or all of the three days, please contact me as soon as possible so I can get a feel for how we'll be covered this year. If you are member of AMSAT and have a working knowledge of the amateur satellites and/or amateur communications with the ISS, I'd be glad to have you help us out.
Florida AMSAT Net:
I also want to take this opportunity to mention that we've taken a hit on our coverage of the Florida AMSAT Net lately. We are still working this issue and how to have it all resolved soon. We do welcome everyone to check in either through the KI4SWB repeater in Melbourne, N4HHA repeater in Orlando at 443.1 MHz, +5MHz transmit, pl 103.5, or via Echolink through N4HHA-R node # 44310. Again, the net meets at 19:30 ET every Thursday night and all are welcome.

Dave, AA4KN
Hey there you Sat Junkies of the amsat-FL email list.
Is it possible for stations to link up to the AMSAT conf? Can rpts and links, link into it? If so is there a limit? Who's the admin of the AMSAT Conf on echolink? Maybe we can make a FL-Amsat Conf?
I'm not sure whats going on with the NI4CE system echolink. I did make a offer to them some time ago when the link went down to provide a link from my QTH to system via RF but they don't want that.
If there is anything I can do I will.

Cameron
