After some commanding "difficulties" - actually caused by a setup error here
at the ground station, we can confirm that AO-73 was switched into
autonomous mode during our pass on Orbit 32. Your reports are awaited with
interest!

Hello Wouter,
Its 1135 am (GMT) here in Wales ( UK ) and pleased to report that I am
hearing the satellite quite strong with just my "Elk" antenna and Kenwood
TS2000.
Not yet set to record or decode the data but pleased to see the satellite
in is in good health.
Congratulations to the Team.

To help us calibrate our receiver system does somebody know the EIRP of the
ISS packet VHF system and the Funcube VHF bacon or any other signal we can
use as a reference?
Thanks

Helping UL become a world Class Engineering and Educational School
when will AO-73 (funcube) keps be available for download from some fo the selections in Satpc32? A download without those keps will erase the manual installed ones.

Just copied 89 frames of telemetry from FunCube 1. I agree, the 13066B is a
really good fit.

I just had the pleasure of hearing the 0236UTC pass of Funcube AO-73 on my
TH-F6A with nothing but a Comet tri-band antenna on the radio. I was
standing in my living room. For an extremely minimalist receiving setup
like that it was a real trip! Signals were strong from the beacon on
145.935mHZ. My kudos to all involved in the project.
