Hi all-
I'll make an effort to activate W100AW on as many satellite passes as possible until the call sign expires at 0000 UTC on 1/1/2015.
Will start on the AO-73 pass beginning for us at 1447z today.
I'm still somewhat new to the linear birds but I'll do my best. Hope to get you in the log.

It came to me in a dream:
I’d gladly “work the birds,”
If only I were heard!
My beam is pointing high,
Directly at the sky,
But when I key the mic
My neighbor’s wife goes white
And o’er he comes
To use his thumbs
And squeeze my windpipe tight!

Hi to all & HNY !!!!
Since a few days now, a cuban station is active on the ISS packet, he is
CM7BLC and he is getting addicted to APRS...
He will try to be on every ISS pass until January 5, he is new to that
mode...
He is using AGWPE+UISS and in the rig section a commercial kenwood radio
(TK-760G) with 25W and a 4 element yagui with a manual rotator...
Despite the low power of the ISS packet tx, he has a very good copy of
the station...
He can be reached at: cm7blc at frcuba dot co dot cu
I'm coaching him to get into LoTW, so any QSL from a contact will be
confirmed that way in the future when he receive his LoTW credentials...
73 and again happy holidays and HNY!!!
Good afternoon,
I will be on FO-29 from the EN74/EN75 line (the 45th parallel) near
Gaylord, MI on the 2105Z pass this afternoon.
I'll be on other passes from that line this week as well. Other passes
today will be from EN74.
I also plan to go to EN84/EN85 later this week. Unfortunately, I don't
think I will make it to EN76 or EN86.

Hello John KC0BMF,
In the past I have used long time a tnc2multi packet modem with UISS and AGWE software.
I also have tried AGWE soundcard mode.
But last period I use soundmodem to decode ISS packet.
With soundmodem I decode much more weak packet signals even with a bit noise.
Soundmodem has good software filters.

I have been hearing 1200 baud APRS signal on 145.850 Mhz for some days now but was unable to decode. Anyone knows which could be this satellite having APRS downlink on 145.850. 73

Hi Richard,
There was an issue with the IC-7100 and SatPC32.
I contacted the developer. Erich, in March this year.
It was an issue with the routine that checks the RX/TX status, and
Erich sent me an updated version of SatPC32.
I am not sure if the current version has this fix for the 7100.
Erich follows this list, so hopefully he can give you further information.
