Dear All The LATMOS team has programmed the UVSQ-SAT satellite to go into transponder mode on January 1, 2022 at 12:00 UTC. The transponder will be active during 11 consecutive hours. Does anyone have an audio recording of the PSAT UHF audio downlink? We can listen for nulls to guess the final spin rate. This info is useful in assessing the radiometric spin-design.. CAS 4A

Hi all, I took advantage of the gorgeous weather for the 24th here in Dallas, to drag all my satellite stuff out into the back yard and make contacts on several Linear passes throughout the middle of the day. I have not been on the linear birds since Field Day. Most of my good passes during the middle of the day, were the CAS 4Z and CAS 4B birds. 4B was nice and strong as it ever was, but 4A was weak and impossible for me to find myself. It was 4A that was reported to be shutting down periodically? Or 4B? Both birds never seemed to drop, but for me 4A seemed much lower in output power. Is this what others have noticed, or was it just me? Just curious. I enjoyed the outing, even with that challenge. Hope to be active on sats for fun on Winter Field Day, even if only ne contact counts toward our score.

Dear Group: I've noticed that the live tracking of the ISS is located differently on different websites and Ham Radio Deluxe. I fired up SATPC32 and it seems correct with the ESA Webpage. Live tracking on the AMSAT Webpage page is following my HRD which seems 3 or 4 minutes behind the ESA Webpage. I have updated all my keps which align with the AMSAT live tracking location. This morning while trying to download SSTV from ISS I was unable to track it properly. I had a huge signal before it even reached the horizon. Any suggestions or remedy. Jim VE7JMN
