The signal should be receivable on a handheld transceiver with a quarter-wave whip antenna. Use the widest filter for 25 kHz channel spacing. To maximize these radio contact opportunities, ARISS is looking for organizations that will draw large numbers of participants and integrate the contact into a well-developed education plan. Preferred software for Mac OS

Hello, It's Rob ZL2IW here... Sorry to ask a dumb question.. if one or two could reply to me that would be enough, and greatly appreciated... I am migrating from a Windows laptop, to a Mac OS laptop for most of my day to day work... Just wondering what software is recommended for SSTV decoding, satellite tracking, and rig control. Rig will most likely be an old 9100 Have come across MacDoppler, but not sure if this decodes SSTV.. Yes, I am trying to work up a decent solution for the SSTV images from the ISS :) Thanks and all the best, Rob

SatPC32 problem- Access is denied

This problem has occurred a few times during a pass. SatPC32 stops working (I can see its not updating the frequencies) and whenever I click the tone control (T0, T1) I get the message "Access is denied" and the Countdown window dissappears. If I click OK on the message popup, the window reappears. It gets worse; In order to restore operation meaning to get doppler control so I can make a sat QSO, I need to restart SatPC32 but when I click the X, I get the error message. I must click File, Quit. By this time, the pass is over. Restarting SatPC32 does restore normal operation. This problem is intermittent. Most of the time, SatPC32 works well with my IC-9700. The PC is running Win10. Do these symptoms point to a known issue or do I just reinstall everything?

When that happened to me it was due I accidentally bump the USB cable from my laptop to the 9700 such that it made a disconnect then reconnect (you can hear the sound of USB disconnect and connecting thing). SATPC-32 Doppler SQF

I just went into the program to install XW-3(CAS-9) and nothing is listed in my doppler sqf file.....Where did it go.....? Done a backup restore and still no listed sats in the doppler file. Jerry KJ4EU
