Icom 9100 configuration

Hello, I would like to configure an icom 9100 to send packet through soundmodem. The icom is connected to PC1 through usb connection with a baud rate 19200. To check the transmission, i'm using rtl sdr dongle installed on PC2. The transmission is working fine when i use a manchester 2400/1200. When I increase the modulation to 4800, the sounmodem cannot decode the packet. When i send many times (30 packets), the sdr capture one packet with this speed. 1. Please any advice? 2. Connectig the icom to PC1 through ACC connector can resolve the problem. If yes, please should I connect the acc to serial port or in/out jack (if you have any schematic to follow). ARISS is thegroup that puts together special amateur radio contacts between students aroundthe globe and crew members with ham radio licenses on the International Space Station (ISS). This will be a Multipoint Telebridge ARISS Contact via Amateur Radio between the ISS and students fromCollege Descartes. Students will take turns asking their questions of ISSAstronaut Thomas Pesquet, amateur radio call sign KG5FYG. French is thelanguage that will be used for this contact. The downlink frequency for this contact is 145.800 MHZ andmay be heard by listeners that are within the ISS-footprint that alsoencompasses the ARISS radio telebridge station. ARISS team member David Payne, using call signNA7V in Portland, Oregon will serve as the relay amateur radio station. Each student asking a question onthe ARISS radio will be conferenced in from home or social-distancedat school. ND9M/mm Grid Ops - 510

I was able to get three grids on the air today: QK35 on CAS-4A/4B at midday, QK34 on XW-2C/2F and RS-44, and QK24 on RS-44 and CAS-4A/4B. We're just a few miles south of Saipan which is in sight now but still in QK24. We'll pull in tomorrow and "drop the hook" where we'll be for a while. I'll be on several passes tomorrow evening; all will be from QK25. Afterward, I'll wrap things up for a final post. 73/Jim, ND9M

DM94 and DM95 Wednesday May 12

Heading to the Texas panhandle this Wednesday to activate a couple of grids out there. I am planning on activating DM95 (or the DM95/EM05 gridline) on: 2117utv AO7 CW 2134 CAS-4A SSB 2145 CAS-4B SSB will have to see if I can find a suitable road to get me to the gridline out there. Looks like PSAT2-1 DTMF log shows first 2-way DTMF contact between N3CRT and KN2X QSO numbers 86 and 87. See APRSAT <http://www.aprsat.com/dtmf> And a total of 17 unique DTMF users: LW2EE,KI6TSF,KE4AZZ,N3CRT,NN2K,N6AJ,PY5LF,PI6TSF,KK4YEL K3CRT,KN2K,YD0NXX,P3CRT,F5VKV,KE6BLR,2E0CRV,AB8SA Though N3CRT, P3CRT and K3CRT are probably the same person. ND9M Grid Ops - 5/9

Busy day with 11 passes today from three grids: QK66 on CAS-4A/4B at midday and RS-44 in the late afternoon, then QK65 on the next RS-44 pass, and finally QK55 in the evening on CAS-4A, XW-2A, and IO-86 plus two passes on both JO-97 and CAS-4B. Tomorrow is our last full day underway; we'll arrive at Saipan (QK25) on Tuesday. I should be able to get on from QK35 on CAS-4A/4B at 10/0239-0300Z (midday LT). After that, our speed will change as we get closer to the island, so it's hard to predict the time schedule for the last few grids except that we'll pass through QK34 and QK24 before arriving in QK25. I'll be on the usual passes in the late afternoon and evening and leave the grid ID to the ship's GPS at the time. 73/Jim, ND9M

After a few days of silence, the U/v linear transponder was reported active over Europe on the morning of May 4th. The telemetry beacon remains inactive. JO-97's inverting linear transponder has an uplink of 435.100 MHz - 435.120 MHz and a downlink of 145.855 MHz - 145.875 MHz. The transponder has remained active in both eclipse and sunlight since May 4th. W2RTV observed frequency jumping while the satellite apparently rebooted in eclipse. JO-97 is a project of the Crown Prince Foundation of Jordan and was launched on Spaceflight's SSO-A mission aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 on December 3, 2018 contains an AMSAT-UK/NL FUNcube linear transponder and telemetry beacon that can also transmit stored SSDV digital images. Help with TH-D74A

I am trying to store the odd-split frequencies for NO-104 (DTMF) in the memory of my TH-D74A. I downloaded the official manual, but I can't still can't figure out how to get anything in memory much less the odd-split frequencies. Can someone please point me to a video or a set of step-by-step instructions? I actually have the DTMF tones encoded, I just can't figure out the odd-split into memory part. Thanks in advance. TO-108 rebooting ?

The past week or so TO-108 was up for much longer than it was off and QSO's could be made but tonight ( 9 May 02:15 GMT ) it was not staying up for long. A check of the beacon indicated that it would be off but come up with a single tone followed by ID and CW data. then the CW would just turn into dots only and then it would be gone. This cycle repeated. I just pass this along in case it is useful to someone. 73 Frank WA2NDV
