The Fox Telemetry Server will be offline again today for maintenance. Telemetry will queue in FoxTelem and be sent when the server is available. You can safely stop and restart FoxTelem if needed. Dear All, 1) The bird has been stabilized, gyro and battery now stable. On behalf of the thanking all of you who sent TLM to Satnogns which made our tasks easier. 2) The Gold Award winners will be published soon, only a few applications needed to reach the targeted number of 20 and many have uploaded data to Satnogns but have not applied for same on https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdCAAKTMtTmARDwrjIE_Coai1WR9b2zUFj…. please do so if you wish to get one. First come first served, the results will be published as soon as we reach 20 eligible stations. 3) We still have many test to carry and will keep you posted, but the hardest part is over now as the bird stabilized. 73 Jean Marc (3B8DU)

ISS Dopplers Still Off

So… using nasabare for 7/2 didn’t help. The ISS was still about 10kHz above where SatPC32 was tuning the IC 9700. Had to enable the VFO and manually tune up to it and then follow it back down the band. Also still getting good signals after supposed LOS, down to -5 to -8 degrees. Had SatSat in front of me on the iPad watching the ISS az, el, range, altitude and Doppler at 100MHz, AOS/LOS times. It was all very close to what SatPC32 was displaying. Yet SatPC32 did not put the rig where the ISS links were. Only seems to affect ISS as far as I can tell. I really don’t get it. Ray Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS

ISS Dopplers

My SatPC32 Doppler control is way off and I can’t figure out why. Seems to affect only the ISS. As it approaches, the incoming signal is almost 10kHz high — about where it would be with no Doppler adjustment at all. My Doppler.sqf line readsISS,437800,145990,FM,FM,NOR,0,0,Cross band repeaterand keps are current from nasa.all. I also notice that SatPC32 is off on predicting LOS.
