Hi there, I'm catching up on sending logs to LOTW. TSQL is rejecting 3 QSO's I made on XW-3 from 12/27/2021. According to the LOTW FAQ XW-3 is not a known satellite on LOTW (https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/frequently-asked-questions/?lang=en#sats). Do I simply ignore the message and upload the QSO's anyway? I was reading the on-line version of the most recent NCJ (free to all ARRL members) and there was a very nice biography of Randy, ND0C in it! Much of the article was about his QRP activities but satellites were covered as well as KE0WPA's activities. If you are an ARRL member, be sure to check it out. The ARRL sends me an email every month with a link to their on-line publications, but I am sure there are ways to access it also from their website. It is a very well written article, and a nice way to learn more about one of our pre-eminent satellite rovers! 73 John AF5CC

After their release the Russian cubesats send photos in SSTV Robot 36 mode. The data transmissions use AFSK at 1145 bps with non-standard tones. External display for IC9700

Hi. I've recently started using N1MM together with a PC monitor, to enable a large external display for the 9700. Operating on a single band it's great, I can click on the waterfall and the radio moves to that QSO, you can even fine tune with the mouse wheel. But as soonas I change to satellite mode, the link between the computer and radio becomes unstable and fails after 5 seconds or so. Is this a known problem, or have I missed a setting or two in the radio set up menu? Thanks David G0MRF

Help - switching KPC 9612+ to kiss mode with an active port 2

Hello all.I need a help/tip to switch the Kantronic KPC-9612 plus into Kiss mode with an active port 2 . I could switch between port1 and port 2 using the terminal interface mode .And yes port 2 works okay at 9600 buad.. But when ever I put the TNC into kiss mode and resets it ,, it’s keying only port 1 instead of port 2 !!?? Any help? And thank in advance …. Nader Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone

3d Printable dual Ft-817 mount?

I took a look at Thingiverse and a couple of other sites, but I couldn't find a mount to attach two FT-817 radios together for satellite use. I've seen them around, so I'm assuming someone's made a public design. If I can't find one, I'll design my own, but I figured I'd try to find an existing one first. Thanks. Rich, KD2CQ
