Hi to all, I would like to sell an old Tektronix scope; model: 535A with type M plug in (4 inputs) and 2 time-base. All is ok except for one time-base that have some problems. Iif someone of you is interested or could help in providing links to someone interested to purchase, I would appreciate it. Hi Greg, For your information I use 1268.703 MHz for the uplink in my SatPC32 file. UTC in NB Canada

I need some help: Bill KC0TGY will be in Sussex, NB tomorrow and he is now in ME state UTC-3. He sent me an email that Sussex, NB has 1 hour more so is UTC -2 ??? using Day light time. I saw the map and I see Sussex, NB have UTC-3--- Some one know ? Many thanks and sorry about the broadband... AO-51 mode L uplink

Had a couple of good passes this morning, though there were only 4 stations on. It was a good chance to talk yourself onto the correct uplink frequency, which makes a big difference in fading. But! KEEP IT SHORT! I mean some operators simply not able to forget a kind of "standard QSO text". There is no time to send more info than report, LOC and -perhaps- a name, when it is a very first QSO. May I call attention of all those who do not always keep it in mind how short an orbit can be? Yesterday I have been waiting for a certain station who started to send info about his equipment -and when he finished, the orbit was also finished for me! Sevaral station may wait for you when you are in QSO! I do hope experienced radio operators will help "rag chewers" to make their Qs shorter! gl de ha6nn Andras

The command team has been adjusting the power output on the two downlink transmitters to match the changing eclipse times and the changing loads. The 435.300 transmitter tripped on a low voltage watchdog yesterday, but was restored halfway through the 1st pass over the eastern US. Ocasionally during the lead up to Field Day, the L/U downlink on 435.150 may be briefly switched to data to allow the command team to check telemetry. We were actually running 770 milliwatts for Kids Day, which is almost twice the normal output, so you should not have had any issues hearing the satellite. Has the transmitter been set to lower power output? I worked the satellite with the handheld and the arrow last week and this week I can't seem to access it with my AO-13 class station. Signals are very weak here. Everything seems to be working fine as I just worked AO-07 mode U/v with a 5.7 report from K3SZH and he was as good back to me. Also worked KD8SY on the same pass. Good signal as well. FN55 sucess !!

Bill KC0TGY and his wife Marian were in AO51 the Sunday night pass and completed severals QSOs from the rare grid FN55 !! This grid was a big hole in my map for several years and finally I can write WORKED :-) Bill had a great signal and made happy a lot of us, now he and his wife Marian will be in FN75 from 20th to 25th June..... I sent him some mutual pass and I will send info the exactly date when he will be on the air. We have just from 20th to 23th to work him.....
