One neat feature of InstantTrack you can see what satellites are co-visible to each other. It was always fun do try and make cross satellite contacts. Easiest to do on linear satellites where the downlink of one is in the uplink of another. KB7ADL

Zach, Thanks for the info. I wish to share that during the past decade I had same kind of issue trying to decode some genuine coordinated birds and received signals from other birds who uses radio Ham frequencies without even bothering about IARU coordinations. Guys like Daniel (EA4GPZ), and others did write a lot about some abusing our spectrum for commercial ventures without giving a minimum to the HAM community, we are taken for a ride by some. The IARU coordination team is doing a great job, I therefore appeal to all national HAM associations to make the required pressure on their regulators to ensure that all birds using HAM frequencires are coordinated by IARU as a prerequisite before being deployed. I have heard the MV satellite on AO91 downwind several times on the past. Sometimes their footprints just line up. So did one or more operators on AO-91, who thought that the station was trying to send CW through AO-91. Switching over to CW mode, I copied: "manfred es christ fuchs 73 de ii3mv max valier sat manfred es christa fuchs 73 de ii3mv max" This turns out to be the Max Valier satellite, launched in 2017, which (unfortunately) uses Amateur Radio spectrum for a scientific downlink and does not provide any communication resources in return. AO-91's downlink is close enough to Max Valier's that, with Doppler correction, may make it into your receiver's FM discriminator and show up as CW-modulated noise when AO-91's signal fades. Sometimes we see discussions on whether or not a satellite can be called an "amateur satelite". This is what the 2023 edition of the ITU Handbook on Small Satellites says: "5.4 Amateur-satellite missions Amateur-satellite missions use satellites “self-training and communication”, with no pecuniary interest and could be categorised under three broad types: • Amateur missions that allow for two-way communications including transponders and repeaters among others. • Amateur missions that might provide useful technology for future amateur missions. • Amateur‐educational missions where there is an amateur interest, not necessarily involving two‐ way communications, exposing students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) projects with the aim to encourage these students to enter a career in a STEM topic. Key points are that the mission must be related to radio technique, and that the mission will not offer a pecuniary interest. The mission must relate in some way to the advancement and understanding of the technical and operational aspects of radio and satellite systems and are relevant to the amateur and amateur-satellite services.
