About five lunar spacecraft have failed over the past few years due to software errors. Set the radio to USB, as you would do for normal audio QSOs Make sure the audio from the radio is fed to the dashboard software. You should see it in the waterfall display.Find the satellite and manually tune Doppler to see if you can get decodes and get familiar with the sound. When that works, then try the Doppler tracking. I am trying to get telemetry from funcube -1 AO 73 satellite.i have taken real time pass but only beacon sounds are received.I have installed USB audio driver for ICOM 9100.I have set CI-v to 19200 .I have correctly configured ICOM 9100 for Doppler setting in satpc32.AO 73 satellite dashboard is set for capture from sound card. Dashboard Input is set to USB audio driver. I am unable to find problem why AO 73 satellite telemetry is not being received by its dashboard software.I have taken many high elevation angle passes more than 70degree but telemetry i is not being received. ARISS News Release No.23-51 Dave Jordan, AA4KN ARISS PR aa4kn(a)amsat.org FORIMMEDIATE RELEASE ARISSContact is Scheduled with Students at Technological University Dublin, Dublin, Ireland October4, 2023—Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) has receivedschedule confirmation for an ARISS radio contact between an astronaut aboardthe International Space Station (ISS) and students at the TechnologicalUniversity in Dublin, Ireland. ARISSconducts 60-80 of these special amateur radio contacts each year betweenstudents around the globe and crew members with ham radio licenses aboard theISS. Technological University Dublin is a large technologicaluniversity with more than 28,000 students across its five campuses. TU Dublinis a leader in STEM disciplines (with 18% of their students enrolled in STEMand 25% in apprenticeships) and also provides studies in business, media,culinary arts, and the creative and performing arts. In 2022, TU Dublinprovided 300 students between the ages of 8 and 11 years the opportunity toparticipate in a special STEM program, composed of five, space-themed workshops(STEM Try Five program). The school also collaborated with Dublin Institute ofAdvanced Studies, the Dunsink Observatory and the Irish Rocketry Association inorder to provide a series of space-centered student activities. With this ARISScontact, the school also hopes to rejuvenate the hobby of radio experimentation,to highlight the relevance of radio communication and its very importantapplications in day-to-day life. Membersof two amateur radio organizations, North DublinRadio, and the Irish Radio Transmitter Society, are supporting the school forthis ARISS contact by providing technical expertise, equipment, and ham radioactivities. ARISS conducts60-80 of these special amateur radio contacts each year between students aroundthe globe and crew members with ham radio licenses aboard the ISS. The Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azercosmos, is sponsoringthis ARISS contact. AA8WH Bill, at a Civil Air Patrol meetingAt Willow Run Airport, in Southeastern Michigan.I observed the ISS on a near-overhead pass at around 2330 last night.I had my 2 meter radio tuned to the 2 m, 145.800 Mhz downlink frequency. I'm in San Diego on business this week, my wife's back home in Jurupa Valley, and we are both watching the same pass of the International Space Station. I grabbed two families out of a restaurant here and walked out to the parking lot and showed them all the ISS ... While my wife was talking to a fellow school board cabinet member, and the picture is their family seeing the ISS streak across the sky for their first time. Sent from my iPhone
