ARISS anticipates that the contact would be held between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022. Crew scheduling and ISS orbits will determine the exact contact dates. To maximize these radio contact opportunities, ARISS is looking for organizations that will draw large numbers of participants and integrate the contact into a well-developed education plan. The deadline to submit a proposal is March 31st, 2021. Proposal information and more details such as expectations, proposal guidelines and the proposal form can be found at www.ariss.org. An ARISS Introductory Webinar session will be held on February 25th, 2021 at 8 PM ET. Attempt to decode NO-84

Hi, I've received two burst during last pass of NO-84 over EU, signal quite good with a bit of qsb on 435.350MHz. I've recorded the audio and than processed with fldig using BPSK-31: phase scope looks good and what I've decoded is just: 252 00 23 804 242 +20 2n B 252 00 23 804 242 +20 gy that seems resonable data (beacon B, partial first packet) and is similar on what I've read here: dk3wn.info/files/psat_talk_dk3wn_Amsatuk_colloq_2015.pdf and here: http://www.urel.feec.vutbr.cz/esl/files/Projects/PSAT/P%20sat%20transponder… But how can I decode it? I haven't an HF TX so I cannot test uplink so I would try to get telemetry better. One more question: is normal just two burst during a 10min pass? Many thanks! 73, Lapo IK5NAX

IC-705 for Satellites

I saw a PowerPoint presentation on this new Icom radio suggesting it could be used for satellite operation, but it's my understanding that it is not full duplex so how are they using it on satellites without experiencing great difficulty finding their own downlink? I also am not sure if SatPC32 is compatible with this radio. Does anyone have any experience using the 705 for satellite operation? 73 Rick, W2JAZ

I kept the two I used with AO-40. One unmodified converted 2401 to 123 MHz which easy to use with my old FT-847 which tuned 108-174 MHz for mode US Other was modified for 2401 to 435 MHz which was handy for operating mode LS where I uplinked using DEMI 144/1268 converter. I also kept my mku-? 2400-MHz preamp. Sold FT-847 in 2012. So someday maybe there will be another satellite that downlinks on 2401?? I'm not currently on the sats. ARISS is thegroup that puts together special amateur radio contacts between students aroundthe globe and crew members with ham radio licenses on the International Space Station (ISS). This will be a Multipoint Telebridge Contact via Amateur Radio between the ISS and students fromBishop Guertin High School. Students will take turnsasking their questions of ISS astronaut Shannon Walker, amateur radio call signKD5DXB, during the ARISS radio contact. The downlink frequency for this contact is 145.800 MHz. ARISS team member Fred Kemmerer, using his callsign AB1OC in New Hampshire, will serve as the relay amateur radio station.Each student asking a question on the ARISS radio will be conferenced in fromhome. English is the language expected to be used during the contact. TheARISS radio contact is scheduled for February 19, 2021 at 12:56 pm EST (Nashua,NH) (17:56 UTC, 11:56 am CST, 10:56 am MST, 9:56 am PST).
